Action Math Baseball
For Schools & Districts
Action Math Baseball turns standards-based math practice into a game students actually want to play — while giving teachers and administrators the reporting they need to track real growth. It’s fully web-based, privacy-conscious, and proven in real classrooms.
Why Action Math Baseball
- Engagement that lasts — students draft players, manage a roster, and compete in games while practicing real math.
- Standards-aligned — built on Common Core (Grades 5–7) and the Standards for Mathematical Practice, with crosswalks to TEKS, B.E.S.T., and SOL.
- Measurable growth — an independent classroom study showed significant pre/post gains.
- Visibility for teachers & administrators — dashboards show exactly where every student stands, with no grading.
- Easy to deploy — fully web-based; runs on the devices schools already own.
Proven in the Classroom
An independent study of 17 teachers and 890 middle-school students found significant pre/post growth in math. 88% of students were motivated to participate, and 94% of instructors would recommend Action Math Baseball to a colleague.
Standards Alignment
Action Math Baseball targets priority math standards across Common Core Grades 5–7, plus the Standards for Mathematical Practice. For states with their own frameworks, we provide a crosswalk to TEKS (Texas), B.E.S.T. (Florida), and SOL (Virginia).
Reporting & Accountability
Teachers get individual standard reports, certification reports, class progress, and leaderboards — updated automatically as students play, with no grading required. Administrators get a clear view of growth across classes and schools.
Privacy, Security & Compliance
Student privacy comes first. Action Math Baseball is designed to align with COPPA, FERPA, CCPA, and SOPIPA. We collect only minimal student information, never sell data, and can provide a district Data Privacy Agreement on request.
Technology & IT
Action Math Baseball is 100% web-based — nothing to download or install. It runs on Windows, Mac, Chromebooks, iPads, and Android tablets in any modern browser, and performs well on standard school broadband. If your network filters traffic, your IT team only needs to allow a handful of our domains.
Accessibility
Action Math Baseball is built for clarity and readability for middle-school learners — clean typography, straightforward navigation, and narrated instructional videos. We are working toward WCAG 2.1 Level AA conformance — see our Accessibility Statement for current status, or contact us for details specific to your district’s requirements.
